Love your cuppa Joe more than you love to Joget? Ready your calendar - there are two major coffee events coming up.
Happening just next month is the annual trade and consumer exhibition Cafe Asia, which hosts both suppliers and cafe owners from around the region.
Interested in picking up some specialist knowledge for your new cafe or just want to keep your passion brewing? Exhibitors will be showcasing all the coffee paraphernalia you can think of, including coffee and cocoa beans, roasting machinery, packaging machinery and even decaffeinators.
Or you can get down to business (latte art competitions, tastings, workshops...) with the local participating cafes, including Chye Seng Huat Hardware, Maison Ikkoku and Nylon Coffee Roasters.
Cafe Asia is open to public on Saturday, May 5 from 10am-5pm at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre Hall C. Get updates from their Facebook page or go straight to their website to register for a free pass.
The first-ever Singapore Coffee Festival, also a trade and consumer showcase, will be held in June.
And not only will there be coffee tastings, forums and workshops on how to brew a good cuppa, there'll also be a spread of cafe food. Luckily for Muslim coffee drinks, one of the festival's partners is halal cafe Royz et Vous, who will make an appearance alongside the likes of Common Man Coffee Roasters, Smitten Coffee and even HIC Juice.
