From the folks that brought you the Design Film Festival in Singapore comes another event, this time to evoke the beauty of food... in film.
The lineup of film screenings and other events happening from Apr 29 to May 14 hasn't been released, but they've announced on Facebook as well as their website that there'll be a preview: screenings of Noma, My Perfect Storm.
Through the documentary, fans and would be fans of the four-time "best restaurant in the world" will get to see how founder Rene Redzepi tackles today's challenges so his take on Nordic cuisine can keep its coveted status.
According to a synopsis, "his story has the feel of a classic fairy tale: the ugly duckling transformed into a majestic swan, who now reigns over the realm of modern gourmet cuisine".
The festival preview will be held from Mar 5 to Mar 13 at Shaw Theatres Lido and tickets are now on sale via the Food Cine.ma website for $15 each.
